The OBSERV® is an innovative digital imaging system that evaluates the skin not just on the surface, but on multiple surface levels in just a few minutes. Using advanced lighting and camera technology the device can photograph your face and recognise skin concerns at a deeper level. Think of it like a high-tech photo booth that provides you with an easy-to-understand, objective analysis of your skin and the following skin conditions and concerns:

How Does It Work?
The OBSERV® skin health scanner helps us see a true view of your skin, from within. The skin is much more complex than can be seen by the naked eye, so the OBSERV® scanner allows us to see your skins true condition and identify and treat any underlying concerns, sometimes before they even become visible.
During the scanning process, the OBSERV® emits wavelengths of light that penetrate your skin and reflect back a clear image of the deeper layers that are not visible to the human eye. A photograph is taken allowing for accurate and in-depth skin analysis.
What Can Be Identified during a Skin Analysis?
The skin analysis allows us to instantly see a true view of your skin’s texture, tone, structure and any underlying damage to cells that are yet to be seen on the surface. Overall, the 8 different light modes can address skin conditions such as fine lines and wrinkles, laxity, inflammatory, scar tissue, skin type, pore health, skin pigmentation, active acne, sunspots and dryness. The advanced lighting modes help us identify the root cause of specific skin concerns and conditions and offer personalised advice and treatment plans.
How Can I Benefit from It?
The OBSERV® device allows us to have in-depth understanding of your skin health, which will help us identify the best treatment plan going forwards. - Daylight – the skin as seen in a controlled, natural daylight environment.
- Surface Texture – reveals the skin’s textural structure.
- Pigmentation – will uncover common skin tone irregularities such as sun damage, pigmentation, melasma and general colour variations.
- Vascularity – will show us the network of microvascular structures in the skin that lead to redness and visible facial flushing.
- Parallel Polarised – will provide us with an enhanced view of the skin’s surface, fine lines, micro-relief, wrinkles, texture and pores.
- Cross Polarised – this mode suppresses surface shine for an unobstructed view of dermal structures, vascular conditions, inflammations and pigmentation.
- True UV – this mode will expose any skin abnormalities on the surface and in deeper skin layers’ for sun damage.
- Simulated Woods Light – we can adjust the spectrum of light to reveal diagnostic dimensions, such as skin dehydration and oiliness.
