About Elizabeth Harris

I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing (BN HONS) degree and an Independent Nurse Prescriber. After working in the NHS for nearly 30 years, I made the decision to dedicate my professional career to medical aesthetics.

I qualified as an Independent Prescriber in 2010 and have always valued the opportunity this has given me to develop and extend my nursing role, using my clinical knowledge and experience to provide a more comprehensive level of care to my patients.

My Journey Into Medical Aesthetics

After many years of seeing the benefits of botulinum toxin within medicine, and being convinced by its safety and efficacy when used appropriately by a trained medical professional, I decided to embark on my own aesthetic journey.

In 2015, I spent an intensive week in Harley Street, London, undertaking specialist training with Medics Direct Aesthetics Training Academy alongside other prescribing nurses, doctors and dentists. Once I had developed confidence in my new skills, I returned to Harley Street to undertake further training as an Advanced Practitioner.

Since then, I have continued to invest heavily in my education and professional development. I regularly attend advanced training courses, conferences and workshops across the country, predominantly in London, including training at the Royal Society of Medicine, the Royal College of Physicians and Harley Street.

I have had the privilege of being trained by Dr Uliana Gout, a Harley Street Key Opinion Leader, global speaker, trainer and author. I have also attended conferences and training days with Dr Kate Goldie, one of the UK’s leading aesthetic doctors, Medical Director of Medics Direct Training Academy and a multi-award-winning aesthetic practitioner.

I am a member of the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN), attending regular local meetings and training, as well as the National Annual Conferences and workshops with leading doctors and nurses within the aesthetics field.

Patient safety has always been at the forefront of my practice. I am a Registered Practitioner with the Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative (CMAC), reflecting my commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and ensuring that I remain up to date with the management of potential complications.

My Approach

For me, medical aesthetics is about much more than simply treating lines, wrinkles or individual concerns. I believe in taking the time to understand each patient, listen to what they would like to achieve and then provide honest, professional advice about what may or may not be appropriate.

My aim is always to achieve natural, balanced results that enhance rather than change the way you look. I want my patients to still look like themselves – simply refreshed, rejuvenated and confident.

Over the years, I have carefully selected and developed a comprehensive portfolio of treatments, choosing only those that I believe offer the highest standards of safety, efficacy and results. This includes a range of gold-standard medical aesthetic devices and treatments, alongside established and innovative technologies such as Plasma BT® and ThermaVein®. This carefully curated approach allows me to offer my patients a broad range of treatment options, including effective alternatives to more invasive surgical procedures where appropriate.

I am incredibly proud of the clinic I have built and, most importantly, of the long-standing relationships I have developed with my patients. Many have been coming to me for years, and I feel privileged that they continue to place their trust in me.
