This is the newest and most sophisticated Hyaluronic Acid (HA), injected just under the skin to improve skin quality and hydration as well as tightening and lifting sagging skin….. It is not a ‘filler’ and does not add volume to the skin.
Profhilo ® is a pure HA with no additives. The product is injected as a bolus in 5 key areas on each side of the face, neck, décolletage or each hand. It has a unique structure of cohesivity that allows the product to flow freely through subcutaneous tissue and the dermis, in a way that no other HA can. It flows within these fat compartments and skin layers to fill them evenly in 24-48 hours. Profhilo® is a highly concentrated mix of high and low molecular weight HA for skin remodelling and laxity, improving skin elasticity and firmness as well as deeply moisturising and hydrating the skin.
As it is a stabilised product Profhilo ® lasts in the skin for around 28 days. During this time the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin takes place. A second treatment is given 4 weeks after the first to continue this process for another 4 weeks. The results of the treatments are then at their best and last for months.
It is an amazing treatment on its own or it can be combined with and complement other aesthetic treatments within a personalised treatment plan.
Profhilo ® is a course of 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart.
A further single treatment is recommended every 6-9 months to maintain optimal results.

Downtime
There is very little down time. Small bumps may be present at the injection sites, these must be left alone and will gradually go down over the next few hours. As with all injections, there is a risk of bruising which can be covered in sterile makeup.

Subsequent maintenance treatments (1x 2ml syringe): £300.00 each.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the treatment hurt?
A topical numbing cream is used to numb the skin prior to treatment to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Each injection takes a few seconds, and a slight stinging sensation might be felt.
Will the results be visible straight away?
Results are gradual. The best/final results will be visible around 3 weeks after the 2nd treatment.
Is there any aftercare?
The treated areas must not be rubbed or touched afterwards. The small bumps must be left to go down and must not be massaged. Full aftercare instructions are given when treated.
Who can have this treatment?
A full Consultation is given prior to treatment to ensure you are suitable. Being unwell, suffering from certain health conditions or taking some medications may prevent you from being able to receive this treatment. This will all be discussed during your Consultation.
NB. You cannot have this treatment if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
